High fashion isn’t always anti-environment, as a recent competition by Gucci tells us. In conjunction with IFM, a design institute in France, Gucci and Ever Manifesto newspaper presented a simple sustainability challenge to designers: design a high fashion, environmentally handbag, using the famous Gucci Bamboo bag as inspiration. The goal of the competition was to support and promote green initiatives in the fashion world.
